The 5.5" x 8.5" "Little Book" is our effort to make a small size summary of "The Collectible Ike Varieties: Facts, Photos and Theories"(The Big Book). The "Little Book's" small size allows an easy review of a coin's characteristics to detailed photographs. We begin with the Ikes presently listed in Cherry Pickers’ Guide, Vol. II. The “Little Book” contains: ___Pictures & descriptions of the 6 Ike varieties in The CPG, plus 17 more chapters of Collectible Ikes. ___Information by The IkeGroup edited by Bill Sanders. ___(See: The Ike Group @ www.IkeGroup.org & See:

For far too long, the Eisenhower Series has been neglected. The IKE GROUP has done a wonderful job investigating, researching, and taking the next step towards step by step breaking down the mystery of this short lived series and unraveling the unknown. Areas such as die clashes, peg legs, repunched mint marks, Friendly Eagle Varieties, and doubled dies are tackled head on even with conflicting viewpoints from various members. Short comings are acknowledged and imput from collector's themselves are welcomed and as such, the humility and simple love the Eisenhower dollar is a most welcomed sight to behold. Simply put, a ground breaking reference point for both the expert, the novice, and everyone in between. The IKE GROUP even had the insight to produce a small size edition that a collector can bring along to coin shows, read on a train going to work, or whenever time avails itself. Looking forward to more volumes in the future. Thanks again IKE GROUP.
The Ike Group's work offers some fresh perspectives into the field of Eisenhower Dollar varieties not available elsewhere. Both novice and advanced collectors will find this helpful and informative. I'd caution beginning collectors that this represents the 'deep end of the pool'. The contents should inspire spirited interest and discussion for years to come. A handy and fairly compact summarization of the Ike Group's studies of the last several years.
