Dancing on the bar, nevermore

ByBilly Peterson

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
I grew up from just this side of the “Great Depression” alongside FDR and into Pear Harbor and World War II and through rationing, Hiroshima and ENIAC (the first computer), All 30 tons of her. Got through the 50’s while the country went Nuclear and watched Sputnik on a very snowy T.V. We were enlightened by Carl Sagan and the Moon landing in the 60's. The 70’s brought us Watergate, Disco, Lava lamps, gas rationing and “Jaws” where they needed a bigger boat. “Chariots of Fire” was my favorite movie of the 80’s. Carl Lewis and his achievement of equaling Jesse Owens 4 gold medals in one summer Olympics was outstanding. A bright spot in the 90’s was the Hubble telescope and the Digital technology revolution. This book is about none of the above and yet, all of it and more influenced my life and your life through those years. I came out on this side of all that alive and well. This book is about how I managed all that and for my wife and friends and all to remember 'that I was here'.
