Away from the Roots - Migration Experiences in Poems and Thoughts

"AWAY FROM THE ROOTS" is a collection of thoughts that can represent the various moods of many immigrants residing in Italy, but surely can also be related to other migrants in other countries. My research was on immigrants of different origins, but with a particular attention to those originating from Africa. So, I just tried to lend my pen, in poetic forms, to our voices, cries of despair and joy, disappointments, sadnesses, discomforts, nostalgias, laughters, successes, failures, hopes and all other situations that make the lives of migrants what we know and maybe even a little of what is yet to be discovered.
