Scrap Joe's bedtime stories are for the technically interested child. It contains 7 short stories about the scrap yard owner Scrap Joe and his friend Mechanical Mike who have a passionate fascination for old Cadillacs. The stories are suitable in length for bedtime stories, which are also where they originated - as bedtime stories for the author's son. Drawings and pictures have deliberately been omitted, since the author feels that bedtime stories should stimulate the child's imagination and allow an individual perception of the persons and their surroundings to be created when entering the land of dreams.
