"Midnight and Eternity " Midnight and Eternity is a book of poetry, prose and eccentric photographs. Bo’s sense of love is felt most deeply in lines such as “You are like an hour glass of sand /slowly /slipping away from me” in his poem “Beginnings” musical rhymes are felt in his warning “A storm is coming from far and near/you can hear it hollow hear it sneer” in his piece titled “Storm”. His poetry and prose are strong in bringing out a sense of strength as in “My Childhood Memories” a prose piece recalling childhood battles and feelings of superiority despite them. The lines are moving with pain and desire as is the poem titled “Regrets” “we bring hellfire until we turn our world to ashes” and “all that I am is you” in For Kat. In some poems Mr. Winnberg acknowledges the darker moments offering no hope such as “I need someone with more money” and “That which consumes from within-LOVE!”. Overall interesting and moving, although the writer occasionally chooses sound over... More > sense.< Less
