"Re: The Thick Blue Line" This is with out a doubt one of the best true crime stories I have ever read. The reader will feel that they are involved with the investigation due to the way the author relates the highs and lows of this investigation. This should be a movie. I think I saw the premise of this story on NYPD Blue back in 1995 or 1996..
"THE THICK BLUE LINE" I really enjoyed this one. I was trained by the author and recently read his book co-written with another retired cop Ernie Naspretto. Bob Martin is an excellent teacher and the book he has written is hard to put down. I enjoyed it from start to finish and think it would make a great movie.. I hope these guys produce more in the future.
