From Oct. – Dec. 2003 I traveled alone from South to North India, staying in ashrams and a Buddhist center and seeking out ways to live that I had never seen, and beautiful and holy places. One of the greatest and hardest gifts India gave and continues to give me was to open me to the immense suffering in our world. She also has shown me the gateways to spiritual paths of understanding and practices that will help me to grow my compassion and understanding so I can fully accept her first gift. These poems flooded from my pen during my travels. They are word photos I offer to you to share my journey of the mind, of the body, of the heart.
