This is a New Testament from 1882 which is properly called the American Revised Edition. The text of the American Standard Version, by agreement with the English Committee, was not supposed to be published until after 1900. However, the American Baptist Publication Society took the Revised Version, incorporated the American Committee's preferred readings into the text, and published it in 1882. The text of this Bible should be close to the ASV.
