Oct 18, 2008"Master Painter" I found this book a good read. The author has a good command of the English language and I found his descriptions delightful. e.g. "A daughter as pretty as peach pie." I smiled when I saw the expression, "Knocked her clean out." as "clean out" is an expression often heard in the neck of the woods where I was raised. This book has all the ingredients of a good adventure book with the small town setting, the passive aggressive father, cowboys, Indians and the mystical master. I would say keep up the good work but I see Brando Quinn has lots of irons in the fire if you check his storefront....Jo
