The Crystal Gems - A Journeys’ Beginning

If you closed your eyes and took a deep breath, you could actually hear the peaceful silence ringing in your ears that was echoing off the walls that comprised the tiny, cozy, single room cabin. Sunlight was just barely peering through small cracks in the rough ceiling that visually added an even more peaceful feel to the silence. Vex, whose head was wrapped in a bandage, slowly opened his eyes. A thin ray of sunlight caught his pupils and agitated him. He tried to move his arm but for some strange and unknown reason each attempt to move it made it tingle. Eventually his eyes adjusted to the dimly lit room and this began to allow him the chance to take in his surroundings.
