To Brian Pivik (and others), 'Simple(6,74) English(7,74) Gematria(8,74)': GOD=7_4 is the key(74=T20+H8+E5+K11+E5+Y25). 'Kaballa' is the correct spelling since Kaballa has 7 letters and equals 40 (K11+A1+B2+A1+L12+L12+A1). 7 & 40 are the two most repetitive numbers in the Jewish(74) Bible, Y'shua/Jesus'(74) Gospel(74)s, and Muhammad(74)'s Qur'an. The numbers remain the same no matter what language is used. I just came across your book. I'm a scholar/researcher of gematria and pardon my lack of humility, the leading scholar on Simple(6,74) English(7,74) Gematria(8,74) - google that. You appear to only use Hebrew gematria in your Torah(47)/Tanak(47) analysis? Why didn't you include 'Greek isopsephy' ('gematria' was their word for 'geometry')? You recognize their historic connect(74)ion. Many fail to acknowledge that the Qur'an was written using the alphanumeric code/cipher called 'hisab al-jummal' (gematria) - google that. Hebrew, Greek, and Arabic all use a very similar code of A-J... More > = 1-10, K-S = 20-100, T- = 100- . IF you were to embrace SEG for what it is - the ultimate evolution of linguistics/the 'Holy Tongue' - you might then choose to write about it. Consider this... Sargon II - the king/ruler is who history records as the first to use gematria through the number of cubits: Sargon=74=S19+A1+R18+G7+O15+N14, the king=74=T20+H8+E5+K11+I9+N14+G7, ruler=74=R18+U21+L12+E5+R18, gematria=74=G7+E5+M13+A1+T20+R18+I9+A1, number=73=N14=U21+M13+B2+E5+R18, cubits=74=C3+U21+B2+I9+T20+S19. IF you were to write 'Simple English Gematria and the Tanak(47)', you could take the same principles and topics, and adapt them to a much simpler, stronger, and world-wide language: English. This could be a great work! And it would be a book for everyone, not just for Hebrew scholars where you may have provided a great Thanksgiving holi-day(74=H8+O15+L12+I9+D4+A1+Y25) dinner, but forgot the turkey.< Less

This book is a credit to the author and should be on the bookshelf of any self-respecting esoteric researcher. Well done and thank you.

"Gematria & the Tanakh" is the definitive book on gematria. I've had a lifelong interest in the Hebrew bible, mainly from the perspective of having actively studied Jewish American literature. As such, I've found this book to be extremely useful as well as comprehensive. The wealth of information in this book is impressive. It has taken the author 13 years to put everything together, and his effort and determination show. This is truly a must-have for anyone who is interested in Kabbalah or gematria. I highly recommend it.
