As a Registered Nurse and group leader I have used Bruce Bane's book to create conversation -- and compassion -- for the reality of living with dementia. This resource speaks with great eloquence and depth to the fragile balance of pain and hope found with such a diagnosis. It is helpful for those in the early to mid stages, as well as, their caregivers -- and it is relevant to the entire human condition, not just a specific clinical label. Bruce Bane speaks to what it means to be human. This is a work of heart, integrity, and courage.
