This book is a compilation off all the blogs written for our "Route 66" trip through the scriptures.
There are 66 books that comprise God’s Word, the Bible. We’re planning a Trinity family road trip through it in 2011. The road will take us into the past, but this isn’t about nostalgia. Nothing will prepare us for life now and in the future than an understanding of God’s Word. And on some of those largely unexplored pages are some wonderful treasures you may not yet have discovered.
We want as many as possible to finish well, so we’ve put together a program to make the trip easier. We’ve chosen a travel guide that sets out a path through the Bible, but builds in both variety and “catch-up” opportunities. As well, the pastoral staff will act as tour guides, writing a daily blog that points out some highlights as well as helping through hard spots on the journey.
