Lives Lived tells the story of those resilient individuals who were part of the fur trade which, during the first half of the 19th century, extended from northern British Columbia to southern Oregon.
Volume 3 of Lives Lived West of the Divide completes the biographical entries, with fur traders with last names beginning from S-Z. It also includes appendices listing and describing all of the different fur trade posts and forts, the various ships used during the fur trade, medical instruments and medicines used at the posts, items that men may have ordered to the posts, and the books that fur traders may have read. Volume 3 also contains the index and sources for the entire 3 volume set.
