"Wirth's History" In this book, that's filled with pictures, starts with the Native Americans--who they were, how they lived and what happened to them, then I go to the first settlers of Wirth, which, in fact were Germans and I explain how they lived which is really interesting! For those of you that are interested in small town histories of Arkansas, this is the book to have. Did you know that the German settlers made fine silver dinnerware in Wirth? After research I have discovered that there were 2 silver mines in this area now lost! There is gold in the nearby creeks, however it is just flake. Could there be nuggets found? Cematary records are included. This is a very interesting book if you 'want' to know.
