One evening “Ireland” searches the Internet and makes a remarkable discovery. Teen Culture Shock is a teen forum encouraging teens everywhere to share opinions, but has the stipulation that “opinions must be brutally honest.” Ireland joins the forum, seeing great discussion-potential, especially in the site manager “America.” Soon Ireland realizes that although on opposite sides of the Atlantic, she has an enormous amount in common with the American site manager. And when they begin to open up to each other, with the site as catalyst - they decide to share the site. Soon they find friendship is the most precious gift.
But sometimes friends get it wrong, with far-reaching consequences.
A compelling book about multicultural friendship, learning to be yourself and the global consequences!
