A true accounting of two gay men, Clive and C. Robert, decades-long friends, who set out from Malibu, CA to New York City in a Land Rover, loaded to the roof with two dogs and most of Clive’s belongings, so that Clive, a multi-talented painter, interior designer, TV and Broadway performer, can rent an apartment in Greenwich Village and resume a dreaded job peddling real-estate insurance in Lower Manhattan.
