In the mid-Sixties, Hammer Film Productions announced that they were planning a remake of the classic film KING KONG.
Unfortunately for movie fans, the film never got past the planning stages and was shelved in favour of more Dracula sequels and lesbian vampire movies. Hammer's KING KONG was forgotten.
Forgotten, that is, until now! Lifelong monster movie fan Callum Stewart's new screenplay gives genre fans an idea of what a version of the classic tale of beauty and the beast by the company that gave the world such films as HORROR OF DRACULA, THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN and ONE MILLION YEARS BC may have been like.
"Callum makes us believe this all really happened, and when you read his screenplay, you'll be immersed in all the little touches and details that will take you back to a time that never was - but should have been."
- Bruce G. Hallenbeck, author of "The Hammer Vampire."
