The visual artists included in the exhibition catalog, (RE)CONSIDER contemplate social conventions of waste, consumption, and disposability through a series of ongoing projects and investigations. The featured Bay Area artists are Cameron Kelly, Anna Adair, Alicia Escott, Amy Keefer, and Julia Goodman with an by Matthew Alexander Post. Re-use, re-appropriation, and re-contextualization of objects and materials highlight each artists’ perspective and response to the mass production of a convenience-driven world. The original exhibition was presented at ArtSpace404, Santa Rosa, California June 5th through July 17th,2009.
