Me Through You deals with self-concept, how one defines themselves and their story, and how one’s identity is formed from the relationships they have with others. Framed in the format of a sociological study, this work is centered around interviews conducted using a standardized interview guide. Through the creation of a multi-faceted “portrait” of each of the people in my life, a portrait of myself is uncovered. One’s identity is formed based on their relationships, and the experiences they go through with the people they surround themselves with.
