This book is a collection of spiritual, mystical, modern poetry and meditations. For those inclined towards the Mystical Path, these may serve as songs of healing and joy. Appealing to lovers of poetry with a wide range of themes from the mystical to the sensual, from the earthy to the inspirational, this work is really two books in one. Carl Barbarotto has a degree in philosophy and studied theology before leaving the seminary after nine years. He is still interested in the Christian Mystical Path and Non-Duality.
Carl studied creative writing and a number of his poems were published in a University literary publication. His spiritual poetry has been read at spiritual gatherings, retreats and church services.

A beautiful collection of profound, reassuring and intensely peaceful poems, ideally to be read slowly and contemplated leisurely. Clearly written by one who has contemplated Consciousness deeply. Both my father and I thoroughly enjoyed (and continue to enjoy!) reading this delightful work. Highly recommended for those on a spiritual path who wish to expand their insight, develop their awareness and deepen their thinking. Hoping Spirit will flow through the author to write more! Very thought provoking.
There are rare times that only poetry can express the pure thought of the heart. Feed My Lambs is such a book. I will often simply flip through it and read whatever passages or poems leap off the page at me. The author perfectly captures the essence of the child's near death experience: those simple truths of the Light that is the breath of "god". Feed My Lambs is mystical poetry with an edge. A man struggling with demons, striving for the light. Barbarotto's poetry also speaks of the pain of human relationships, the shallow and trivial aspects of our hearts, making the spiritual insights all the more powerful. Melvin L Morse MD
Review from Beth Hampton included on back cover: "Carl's inspired, mystical poetry takes the reader beyond humaneness to the deepest Truths of the soul in the remembrance of Oneness. These illumined words create images that literally dance off the page as one opens to childlike innocence, freedom and liberation. Themes of surrender, mystery, emptiness, formlessness, forgiveness, vision, atonement and others are lovingly and artfully addressed leading the reader from knowing spiritual truths intellectually to the aliveness of embodiment. Carl's words are pointers to deep inner silence, the ground of being, beyond all words, beliefs, concepts and thoughts of separation. Carl's poetry makes my soul sing and cry with joy in the recognition of coming Home to Truth." Beth Hampton. Psychotherapist and Spiritual Director
Carl Barbarotto's deep spirituality speaks to us through the lovely poems in this collection. To read them is to be put in touch with all that is peaceful and filled with love, as our troubled spirits receive understanding. I return to many of the poems over and over. In "Assumption to the Truth", Carl says: "In this Infinite Stillness, in this void of Nothingness, in this calm expectancy, I Know that All is Well. I Know that All is as it should be." These words bring comfort and refreshment to my faith. "Feed My Lambs, Mystical Poems of Earth and Fire" is a significant addition to the library of anyone on the Spiritual Path. Shirley Guy
This book of poetry is truly one of a kind. 'Beyond Form' is truly one of the greatest I've ever read. In describing God, Carl has explained who God is by describing who God is NOT. It's an amazing revelation and a point of approach totally new and different. And this is just the FIRST poem in the book! All of them are amazing and take the reader on an adventure through a life nearly everyone can relate to. I would highly recommend this book as an adventure in observation of life which is a brand new experience in terms of approach and interesting and exciting as one becomes a part of the approach.
