The book offers content and exercises that have helped thousands of Nordgren's students enhance their creative capacity and develop their entrepreneurial instincts.

Via Twitter, someone suggested that I needed to meet Carl, the Creative Populist. So, I checked out his book. (You can tell a lot about a person by the kind of work they put out into the world.) When I read, "Our economy can't recover, it can only be renewed," I suspected I would like this book because it dovetails with my own interest in America getting back on its feet. Carl's book is a potent, pretty little bomb. It's simple to read because it's short, and Carl writing voice is conversational and warm. I never felt like he was talking over me. But the book is also dense with insight, the stuff you think you know deep inside you, but then you read it in Carl's book you think, "Wow, he said this so well!" And that's a real gift: to remind a reader what they already know, and put it into words that ring true. Bottom line: Carl's a very accessible writer, and his content is outstanding.
