The book was written to assist other individuals who have decided to make art a career. It contains helpful acrylic painting tips, as well as information on galleries, art competitions, exhibiting one's work, and more. This book does not contain photographs, but instead valuable information for emerging artists.

Thank you, Sandra Otto, from Toronto, Canada for allowing me share your unsolicited comments-----I'm completely absorbed by your book (Two Years to Professionalism)... I've even ordered a couple of other books on the creative process that you mentioned. Just wanted to say thanks! (I'm an editor as well as a wannabe artist, btw, and it is such a pleasure to read a well-edited book...) It has a lovely flow. I really am having trouble putting it down--my kids are complaining. (-:
