Carol has reached out with her emotions to express what we all feel when our loved ones have passed. I shared this book with my mother, whom is trying to deal with the loss of my father...she has not put the book down yet. I will be sending one out to my aunt to help her cope with the loss of my uncle. Thank you Carol for writing this book to be shared with many.

If you are grief stricken, depressed or going through a life crisis I recommend this book of poems. Carol captures the true profound emotions that many people strugle with in this time of their lives. Reading them you would think she was an observer of your feelings and thoughts. Her poems give comfort that we are not alone as we perceive to be. I am grateful that Carol Victoria Di Salvo shared her most inner self.

Anyone who has lost a "loved one" should read this book of poems. The author has captured her thoughts and feelings during a very difficult period of her life and has managed to express them in a poetic form. I lost a "loved one" and, when I read the poems, I was so moved by each and every one of them and, in a way, I felt better knowing that there was someone else out there who shared my thoughts and feelings. You will come away with a sense of understanding knowing that grieving is a normal process that must be dealt with in many different ways. This author chose to express her thoughts and feelings which, in a way, may have been her "release". I found the book to be an eye opener and also somewhat comforting to know that we all experience these very same feelings as we deal with death and grief. It is a very "dark" reading but shows there is "light" trying to break through.
