A Reflection on Divine Sovereignty: The modern discussion of God's Sovereignty tends to either an Augustinian/Calvinistic determinism, or an "Open Theology" which denies the omniscience and/or omnipotence of God. Neither of these approaches fulfills the requirements of Faith, falling under the Bibical condemnation of "knowledge, so-called." What is needed is a focus on the things we can understand rather than doubtful disputations about the things we can't.
