Worship in the Presence of Jesus

This book is an account of my understandings and convictions concerning Eucharistic Worship that are rooted and grounded in biblical and historical theological studies. They enrich my life and the many who share these understandings and convictions. The worship of which I speak is the Divine Service. It is the service of God in which He makes Jesus present among us to minister to us His salvation that abundantly flows from the cross and empty tomb. God gives us this Word and Lord's Supper worship as the very source and center of our Christian faith and life. Since today many professed Christians are neglecting Christian worship and are far removed from the source and center of Christian faith and life, I hope this book will motivate Christians and inquirers alike to better understand the meaning and significance of Eucharistic Worship and to be faithful, fervent, and joyful worshippers around the Word and Lord’s Supper.
