Chris Dodson's newest and first book,"A Foxes Tale: Into the Burning Inferno", follows the life of a young teenage girl who has been abandoned by the world around her due to her shocking features, namely a fox-like tail and fox-like ears. Apparently, she is the next step in human evolution as a race of humanoid foxes, which was thought to be extinct hundreds of years ago. Now government organizations are after her to stop the chance of the human race ever being replaced by her kind. The theme of this book is an auto-biography, as told by the girl, Kitsune, as she narrates her life. It is in a first person point of view using past tense words to describe the world around her as well as her feelings. The author handles this theme rather well as he always stays on the plot and doesn't negate from it. The way the author tells the story makes it seem you're really in the setting of New Corton, Japan. This book stood out amongst the other books on the website due to its immense... More > use of literary context, as well as sophisticated words that the average eight teen year old wouldn't dare to use. The book is capable of holding all the readers attention with its suspense, mystery, and griping action scenes. I rate this story 4.5 out of 5, and is recommended for all.< Less
