I am a psychotherapist who works with seriously ill people and their support folks. Additionally, I have lost eight friends in the last three years to serious illnesses, many cancer. Chris Frey obviously has a talent for taking an overwhelming and fearful topic and boiling it down to a very understandable and methodical process. He breaks the process of dealing with cancer down into manageable tasks that help to minimize some of the trauma of facing cancer. I think that it is also important that he shares his personal experience with cancer. I see this book as one that could relate to any major life crisis and intend to hand it to any client or friend who has a major illness.
