Exciting and sexy from beginning to end I found I was drawn into Paul and Katie's world from the beginning. I didn't want to put the book down. I was always wondering how far Katie would be drawn into Paul's world with his invention of the Hologram, and whether Paul would convert her image and mannerisms into a hologram as well, which would talk to him and do whatever he wanted. Exciting stuff. The ending was totally unexpected.

I received a copy of the ePub from the author in exchange for an honest review. London Red by Chris Haigh is a most entertaining read. Katie and Paul meet quite by accident. They are an unlikely couple given that they both have relationship baggage to overcome. This novel has two interesting storylines--Paul’s brilliant discovery of hologram technology that could be revolutionary and the couple’s undeniable attraction. The two stories are woven together seamlessly. The author clearly shows the reader that Katie and Paul have a natural connection yet ‘things’ get in the way. The secrets, secrets exposed and the consequences of secrets add to the page turning layers of London Red. With each twist and turn, Chris Haigh reveals yet another obstacle. Hiding the truth is taxing for the characters. Along with the well-written characters of Katie and Paul, the author introduces the reader to a deep cast of secondary characters. The reader will not want Katie and Paul’s journey to be over just... More > yet. Hoping that Chris Haigh considers a sequel to this original read.< Less

Trying to write this without spoilers. :) Boy meets girl in a cafe... then life hits. While their story has ups and downs, and yes sex. The reality of their story is more down to earth. Several times i had to stop reading, in frustration of their life and relationship choices, only to wait a day and continue on. While I'm not a twenty-something like the characters I found it very difficult to relate. I found the british jargon hard to understand sometimes. The story line was lovely and well written. It will be interesting to see what else the author brings to this series.
