One peaceful planet, full of technological wonders, medical advancements, and unique ores is inhabited by beings called Crees who look and act much like humans except for one thing; they have super powers. The planet is governed by a system of twelve Elders and one Ruler. When the Ruler discovers and exceptionally bright child by the name of Xaij, he decides to personally train Xaij to take his place as the Ruler. But when the Ruler’s son Zaniel is born a few years later, the Ruler changes his mind and instead promises the position to his son. Xaij is furious, and upon failing his assassination attempt of Zaniel, disappears; promising that he will one day rule the planet. Years later, Xaij returns; he is more powerful than ever and carrying secrets that threaten to change the course of human and Cree history forever. The only hope the Crees have of stopping Xaij lies in that of the ten prodigies-the ten teenagers who are prophesied to become the most powerful Crees ever.
