Nov 23, 2011"Awesome Poetry By An Awesome Author!!!" Christina Jussaume is an awesome poetess, author, mother and grandmother. She currently works from her home in Massachusetts, where she resides with her family, as the Stylist Manager for A Passionately Fair Publisher, which is located in the UK. This is her eight volume (Spiritual Victory—Conquest of Mind, Body, Spirit) of spiritual poems from a Christian perspective. This book is very uplifting and inspiring. This volume is also her third poetry book in a series with the theme of, “Spiritual Healing for the Mind, Body and Spirit.” The first two books in series are: Spiritual Enlightenment—Healing of the Mind, Body and Spirit, and Spiritual Encouragement—Healing of Mind, Body, Spirit. Christina was inspired in her dreams to write the series consisting of poetry and Bible verses about God, love and nature. This is truly an inspiring and comprehensive series of books to uplift the mind, body and spirit. As a poet and author, she has... More > included approximately twenty of her own poetic forms in this book. These are poetry forms she invented over her years of writing poetry. One will find these forms listed in the glossary starting from page 215 and ending on page 238. For example, some of the forms invented by her consist of: 2011 Rhyme, Beacon of Hope, Candlelight, Charisma, Christina’s View, Christ-in-a Rhyme, Cross of Salvation, Eleventh Power, Enlightenment, Eternal Promise and the like. This book also consists of over ninety poetry forms and styles. For example one will find the most contemporary poetry forms consisting of: Acrostic, Abecedarian, Anaphora, Converse in Couplets, Seventh Heaven, Holy Grail, Kyrielle, Haiku, Senryu, Epulaeryu, Quatrain and much more. These poems are written in an English format of language which one will easily understand. This book is not only packed with words of golden nuggets to inspire and uplift, it also comes with a variety of visual motifs ranging from one poem to the next. Recalling the cliché, “a picture tells a thousand words,” each picture in this poetry book is right on point with the story each has to tell in conjunction with each poem. The overriding theme of this book is “Spiritual Victory.” This spiritual victory is a result of spiritual healing. This is the spiritual healing which is represented by the Christian crusader on the front cover whose quest is to find oneself. As a final note, the comprehensive nature of this book makes it one which could be used as a textbook for any poetry class in an institution of higher education.
