I'm Jeremy Lynch. I'm 19, and up until a few months ago, I was normal. I wasn't perfect. I was ungrateful, spoiled, basically a smart mouthed little s*!t. And I had this habit of looking at someone and only seeing what was on the outside. I ignored the red flags, trusted the wrong the person. I don't have to tell you what that's like. You've been there. Besides, this story isn't about how I got knocked down. It's about how I, eventually, got back up. And learned some important stuff in the process. Like how to admit my older brother could be right – sometimes, how to appreciate my very cool (though overprotective) parents, and how to get along with my new brain. I even learned to get over the pretty wrapping and score the total package. You see, there's more to healing then having your bones put back together and watching the bruises fade. There's more to fighting than knowing how to throw a punch. This is the story of how I put down the down the chips, turned off the TV, and... More > figured that out.< Less

This book is absolutely AMAZING! The characters are engaging and the story is engrossing. I could not put this down which has led to many a sleepless night, but it was definitely worth it. Jeremy is absolutely hilarious and I loved looking at the world through his eyes. Despite all that had happened to him, he still kept his sense of humour and I loved watching him grow up and stand on his own two feet. This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (to the point where I have both a physical copy and an electronic copy for my tablet). I look forward to reading more from this writer!

This story is phenomenal it touches on every aspect of human emotion. I was drawn in from the very begining and was sad the the story came to an end. I liked each and every character. It expounded on diversity, heartaches, misconceptions, and everyday life. Christene Pixley is an author who has arrived and I cannot wait to read her next book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What little is written on my behalf does not do this book justice enough read for yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
