Who should read this book? EVERYONE! People with handicaps will be inspired and others will be enlightened. I work in the health care profession. Christine's interaction with health professional as a patient and as a mother are a lesson in communication for all of us. Her intuition into her own needs and those of her son is always right on. She gets frustrated when people see her handicap and do not hear what she is saying. Her frustration turns to action because she knows her voice must be heard. Christine reflects back on her life growing up with a handicap. She is now a mother raising her own son which gives her a unique perspective on life. She is witty and determined this comes across in her writing. You will laugh and you will cry along with Christine as you read her story. In the end there will be a smile on your face just like the one on the back cover of the book.
