"An astounding look at food rewards and their consequences" I came across this book and was totally intrigued. To be honest, it’s the title that got me. I decided to buy a copy and I am so happy I did. This book is AMAZING. I have two small children and I will NEVER EVER reward them with food again. As parents, we are all guilty of this at one time or another, but we never really think about the long term consequences that it may have on our kids. This book is easy to read and talks about the current debate over why our children are getting fatter and fatter. It’s a refreshing look at the WHY we eat the way we do and HOW we can help our kids change the BAD habits we (baby boomers) learned from our very own parents. Enjoy it, I did!!

"I only wish this one was a whopper... but it is 100% true." This is a well written book that provides amazing insight into the eating habits of the american culture. I was amazed at what an easy read it was and how thought provolking it was. This is a must read for new parents as it is so easy to fall into the trap of using food as a reward. This book will help you understand why we as a society eat what we do and how to avoid these pitfalls so our future generations will have both a healthy lifestyle and a healthy relationship with food.
