IF YOU LIKE KURT VONNEGUT OR THE WORKS OF DAVID LYNCH, then read on. A man without a face is found dead from what seems to be a suicide. After being sent to the morgue for examination his eyes suddenly open. He begins a journey to find something he can't put a finger on. When he finds it, he elopes with an unspeakable emptiness, taking him on a downward spiral through his mind. The story follows him and five groups of people through their own trials and tribulations as they unknowingly help the misguided man to find his fate. Written absolutely out of the box; the enchantingly poetic writing style and cascading plot twists acclimate you to the point that you’re almost prepared for the four fascinating climaxes that ultimately culminate in a mental onslaught sure to leave you without speech or air to breathe: reduced to nothing more than a fiend eager to re-read, if only to find out-is he simply insane, meant for a life behind the walls of an institution, or is he the second... "An Unbiased Note from the Girlfriend" I suppose being the second person to read this book in it's entirety, I should be the second person to post a review. You may not believe me when I say that my opinion is unbiased and that's fine, read the book yourself and you'll know. For now I'll say that I've read the book more than once and I still turn the pages and hang on the edge of tears as if it was the first time. The book is brilliant. There isn't much more I can say. I find something new and intriguing every time I open it up and I know that someday my children will read it in their college classrooms. The depth and the beauty of it will place it among the highest ranks of literature so read it now and beat the crowd. Personally, I'm proud to have been one of the first.

I didn't think when I began this book that it would be my type reading but really enjoyed it! I laughed. I cried. I had 'chills' from fear. I read a lot and if a book can bring out emotions in me then it gets my 'vote!' I am going back to study it a little more because I know there are deeper meanings! Thanks Christopher!!!!!C. Hopkins
