I've been following and reading the series since I heard the audio drama of the book on DarkerProjects.com (since December 2007). The characters are endearing and I was quickly attached to Darrien and Elias (as well as the other main characters). It moves along nicely and it's like you're part of the group as they're relationships (hint hint: Darrien x Elias) form and as they journey through space. I eagerly await the promised 6th and probably final book in the series. There's too much good to say about the book and the series as a whole and unfortunately, it would give away too many spoilers. I highly recommend this book if you're a fan of science fiction novels.
"Great Story" I just finished reading this story and was very impressed. Looking forward to the second book. CPL is an excellent author who deserves to be recognized with a Nebula Award at this years World Sci/Fi Convention.
"A wonderful journey" From the first word to the final scene, I loved reading this book. It is sure to become a common reference in sci-fi in the near future. Looking forward to the next book!
"I love the Trilogy " I can't wait to read book four.I read the last three in one day, hoping to beat that record....I could definetly see this becoming a series/mini-series on SciFi channel or Showtime...Thank CPL for sharing such great writing!
"Darker Projects Podcast" Although I have yet to read the book I am loving the Darker projects take on it. Their audio drama is currently at episode 6 and after listening to all 6 during my night shift I have decided to buy the book, mostly because I can't wait to find out what happens next. If the book is half as good then I'm in for a treat. http://www.darkerprojects.com/falconbanner.html After reading this book and all the sequels/prequels since I cant recommend it enough. Read these if you like epic space opera.
