Decarlo orders Sapphire to accompany Diamond to Bolzano, Italy for military training exercises to ready the girls for their fight with Amir, but plans change as they’re detoured to Afghanistan to join an Italian Alpine Trooper Command Support Battalion to recover the Cloak of Mohammed stolen by terrorist insurgence. Opal remains in Rome where she begins to put together clues of a woman associated with Amir who has close ties to one of Decarlo’s GEMS.
