Join Sparky Sparrow(TM) on his very first fully illustrated adventure! From bedtime stories invented by a weary father in the 1950s to coax four small reluctant children to go to sleep, Sparky Sparrow adventures have now been put to paper by those same sleep-averse children, all grown up of course! These gentle tales always began the same, and so the author has continued the ritual: Sparky Sparrow wakes up in his cozy home in the Big Pine Tree in the Big Pine Forest, and finds the beautiful day a setting for grand adventure. This reassuring and inviting beginning leaves little ones looking forward to their own adventures of tomorrow as they drift off to sleep. Pass on these beloved family stories to your children and begin or add to your own family's folklore with the newest little hero around, Sparky Sparrow. The #1 bedtime story on Lulu is now celebrating 50 years of Sparky Sparrow!

"Great Bedtime Story" We love reading Sparky Sparrow at bedtime. A favorite with our kids and they ask for it again and again. Luckily it is short and easy to read! When will the next adventure be ready?

"A Note from the Author" I hope you like our family tradition. All the Weiss kids loved getting Sparky Sparrow stories at bedtime and I found myself telling them to my own children some 50 years later. For decades we have all been saying that someday we should try to publish our father's unique stories. Well someday has arrived.

"Sparky Sparrow" Hi, I'm Mike Squires, and yes, my Daughter Kate did write the review by herself. I think we may have missed giving it full stars, which it deserves. I would like to add that I think this could become a series and / or a comic strip. All the basic components are there to build from. Mr. Weiss, I think that you should give the idea some serious thought. You have given us something that is enjoyed by parents and children alike. Think about it. Well done
