What does justice mean to you? I believe it stands for the correction of a wrongdoing or transgression. But in actuality, can I honestly say that I’ve experienced justice in this life? Sorry, but my reply would have to be, “NO.” From the time I was harassed for “not already being in the system” by a policeman at the age of fourteen for simply walking through the parking lot of a closed restaurant, to having several policemen stop me at gunpoint after baiting me into a hotel’s parking garage in college, I haven’t been able to see justice through these eyes of mine. And let me not start with the lucrative legal system; I’ll just say…no, I haven’t experienced this wonderful thing called “justice.” So until I do, my silence shall not be known but my voice will continue to ring out:
"Oh justice, oh justice, come see about me..."
