Paderewski: An Architect's Memoir
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Clarence J. "Pat" Paderewski, F.A.I.A., O.P.R. (1908-2007) was a renowned San Diego architect and civic leader in the Polish-American community. In this charming memoir, we are privileged to hear his intimate voice for the first time as he recounts his early years, his college days, and his long and distinguished career. Among his numerous achievements in architecture and civic life, he accompanied the remains of his second cousin, Ignacy Paderewski (composer, pianist, diplomat, and the first Prime Minister of an independent Poland), as they were repatriated to a free Poland. For this and his other contributions to Polonia, Pat was knighted by the Polish government.
