I could not put this book down! It is so rare for a book to come to life in a way that demands your attention like this one does. You feel like you are right there alongside the characters as they experience many moments of anger, stress, despair, joy, hope, and love in an all too real portrait of a war torn America. It is such an entertaining and thought provoking story that will stick with you long after you come to the last page. This book will make you ask yourself if your priorities are in order and will motivate you to cherish the moments with your family and friends in the short time that we have with them.

Heart wrenching and inspiring. I finished this book in tears. It is one of the best books I have ever read. It left me with a great appreciation for family, God, and country. I look forward to reading "Twenty Tails: Dreams From an Angel" and hear he is in the process of writing a new book, to be released in 2017. I look forward to it as well. Great read!

For years I wrote in the horror genre. Once I turned my life over to Christ I gave up on writing. Horror was all I knew how to write. I came across Clayton Jennings in a video on Facebook, which eventually led me to Clayton's Website. I found his two books and bought both. I just finished Willow Trees in Warfare, and must say it is one of the best books I have ever read. I agree with a previous review in wondering why Clayton Jennings is not a #1 best selling author. This book could have definitely found its way to the masses through traditional publishing. It has definitely started the burning desire within me to start writing again. This time, though, I will write for the Lord. Thank you Clayton Jennings for a wonderful read. I am now about to read Twenty Tails: Dreams From an Angel.
