Murder from the Shadows

While staying at his aunt’s cottage in the tiny village of Elmswell, Inspector Nathan Hunt meets a childhood friend and uncovers a tale of intrigue. He is introduced to Ron Goodwin a retired newspaper reporter who has researched the village and its history. Then there is the character the locals call the Major. Builders move in to redevelop the ruins of Neath House next door. This leads to a gruesome discovery and begins a chain of events that may involve WWII Nazi plunder of European art treasures
