The first performance of “Women In Mind” took place at its London opening at the Vaudeville Theatre in the year 1986. Surprisingly, the play was very well received there and most of the reviews by the contemporary critics were excellent. The audience had fully accepted the play and admired the performance. Though it was 32nd play written by the author, it was his first play in which the author used first person narrative and a subjective viewpoint. “Women In Mind” is considered to be one of most affecting plays written by Ayckbourn. It is also said that “Women In Mind” is the also one of the author’s best plays.
