"Nothing Came From Walking" I met Conor as a client of his, and I always left the room not just feeling better but having been opened up to new ways of looking at experiences, the way you feel after an artist shows you new ways of looking at a painting. Conor’s a down to earth and funny guy. You’re aware of that from the first pages of the book, when he finds himself with a month off work, in a beautiful place and just can’t enjoy it. Very recognisable, but it’s where he goes from there that takes you into new territory. The intelligence, humour, humility and matter-of-factness make the book utterly readable, so that you are willing to accompany Conor into new territory. Vivid descriptions of the Maltese island landscape, characters met on the way, holiday mishaps, strange incidents and dream states take us on a journey. And it explores what we fear most. By then you’re hooked.

"Nothing Came From Walking: Surviving Encounters with the Spirit of Death" As I read this book I kept thinking that the writer's style was like slapping down a fish on the reader's counter saying, "take it or leave it." I took it, loved it, and ate it - devoured every page of it. P.B.
