Book Review QUARANTINED by Cowpox Printed by Lulu.com Frankly, we are at a loss of words- if only the author Cowpox as well. A self-purported anthology of original light verse and parodies of Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, Mother Goose, and Dr. Seuss, "Quarantined" in its 152 black and white pages made us only see red. Given the modern penchant for poor taste, this miserable missal provides no taste at all. Base bastard forms become all the more boring by a botched and bruised blandishment. The parody is stiffly mechanical, the limerick stilted, and Mother Goose outright raped by an inexcusable licentiousness that would make a Congolese rebel blush. We are also at a loss for what to do with our copy. The shoddy paper is unfit for bum wipe and the toxic printing precludes both composting or burning. "Quarantined" by Cowpox is a truly diseased volume, crime against Humanities, and should be avoided for the pestilence that it is. Percival Pynchon Editor, Corndog Hell... More > Gazette< Less
