"Seasons in the sun" What a joy this book is and Craig Musson is a new literary star in the making! The rich cast of characters delights throughout, from the sublime Michelle to the absurdity of Sullivan interwoven with anecdotes so well told Musson probably has been rehearsing them for 20 years. Could some of these stories actually have happened? - it would be churlish to suggest Musson has embellished his facts, but no matter, we will forgive him almost anything as we jump from page to page chuckling almost without relief. He manages to capture the carefree times of adolescent boyood with a touch of a writer who senses the mood of his reader, and takes him back to a time when boys were boys and the Vainona rugby team swept all before them. There are the poignant moments also, as we realise this was a special moment in time, when the Gods conspired to create a special place for children to float into adulthood. Seasons in the sun indeed; if you read nothing else this year... More > make sure you read this special tale of laughter and tears. Daffs the Yunger.< Less

"Seasons In The Sun by Craig Musson" As a high school mate of Craig's, first meeting him the year the book commences (arriving from a different junior school), the book is a memorable read of events and embellishments providing much amusement for those of that era and their family & friends to appreciate the long standing friendships that still exist between us all at ‘Vainona Gentlemen’s Academy”! Congratulations Craig and may all those who get your hands on the book enjoy! ‘Grint’
