The War with our Shadows

ByC.S. Birkhimer

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
A collection of letters, aritcles, and journals brings together several people who witnessed a war on two fronts: the physical and the spiritual. Taking place from 1880 to 1934 in the fictional country of Marahland, “The War with our Shadows” is a novel about five people who take part in a conflict between a small island nation and a mysterious and criminal group only known as the Myrleiks. As the danger of Marahland becoming a haven for all Myrleiks rises, the people must stand against the threat. Follow Jack- the soldier, Anna- the woman scorned, Aaron- the prodigal son, Winston- the leader, and Lillian- the evil queen as they follow their own destinies. Learn the history of the conflict through the intimate lens of their personal lives. No one is who they seem and no story is complete without the others. Each person may be on a separate quest in his or her time, but there are many crossroads.
