Frozen Hoops: A History A to B

Back in 1967 as a 11 year-old kid in Winnipeg, Manitoba I used to listen to NBA and ABA games on short-wave radio while lining up my basketball sport cards on a basketball court diagrammed out on a piece of cardboard Now 45 years later, be it announcing, coaching, cheering, collecting, fundraising, officiating, organizing, writing or just even shooting around on two gimpy knees, the passion for this great game remains. I believe strongly that we must take a look at our past to succeed in our future. Frozen Hoops will highlight some of the top male basketball players in Canadian history...with the ultimate goal to select and profile 125 notable players of the last 100 years or so. There will also be plenty of Fact or Fiction information pertaining to Canadian hoops, lots of trivia and history plus exclusive interviews. In this the inaugural issue - December 2012 Issue 1 - we will look at players with the Surnames A – B with a total of 21 cagers profiled. Catch you on the rebound.
