Upon first opening The Girl with Golden Eyes by Cyanide Suicide I had no idea what to expect. You meet sweet, innocent Amaranth who decides to leave her childhood love and life she knew in order to protect them all from an unknown terror. She meets Sir Maxmillian, the Earl of Braden, who comes to her rescue and gives her all she could want and more......or has he? You are front row as Sir Maxx take everything from her though he swears he asks nothing of her. You watch as his vanity and womanizing ways begin to corrupt her innocence and purity. You see her descend into insanity trying to keep, what at first, she thought was love. It is a dark tale that you cannot put down. When you are done you will find yourself comparing the front and back page shocked to see how our protagonist started and ended, though knowing what all she battles through, you do not doubt the way she turns out. This book does leave questions dancing in your head and begin to look forward to Night is Falling:... More > Confessions of the Tattooed Witch: Confessions of the Tattooed Witch to satisfy them. This was well worth the read and I thank Ms. Cyanide Suicide for sharing this tale with us.< Less
