Even though he's a programmer for Virtual Vision Network, Adam Porter never wonders how it all works. He knows that virtual vision offers subscribers a variety of premium channels with which to view the world. There's Cartoon Vision for family fun, Chapel Vision for meditation, Ultramodern and Shangrila for variety. And his personal favorite, Frontier Vision, where he and his virtual dog, Bo, defend the homestead from bands of desperados. But going off-line always brings a return to normal, everyday life until a head injury puts his receiver on the fritz, revealing a post-apocalyptic world that Adam has never seen before. Adam is forced to question what is real and what is an illusion. With Network cops dogging his every move, Adam goes on the run and stumbles upon the Actual Reality Underground where he joins a band of Eco-guerrillas in a plan to blow up the virtual vision transmitters and force the population back to the actual reality they don't even know exists.

"Reality Crash" This fascinating and compelling story immediately pulls you into a fictional world that you can surprisingly relate to and yet hope will only live within your imagination. The authors use today's technology and its possible future application to create a seemingly ideal environment that frighteningly unwinds before your eyes. You identify with characters that seem eerily familiar as they struggle to alter a future that you also fear. When you have finished this book, don't expect to be done with the story. Is the story of our civilization the prequel to Reality Crash? Is the brave new world of Reality Crash the next new button on your remote control? This is a very good read and one that you are not soon to forget.

"Reality Crash" This book is superb! I enjoyed the twists and turns in it and the fact it kept me guessing. I read it in four days. This was a great read over spring break.

"Reality Crash by Cyd Ropp *****" I started reading your book on Monday. Normally it takes me anywhere from 2 - 3 weeks to finish a book because I usually only read before going to sleep & when I wake up in the AM w/my coffee.....BUT!!!!!!....here it is only 3 days later & they've just entered the building to blow things up! Can't believe it gripped me so strongly...in fact I got NOTHING done yesterday because I could not put the book down....& it's not even the kind of book I usually read....I usually read the cop who done it books. Great book! I'm so impressed and proud of you. The thing that strikes me greatly, also, is that because I know you personally, at certain points, while reading the book I could mentally picture you on the other end creating it laughing & excited...Groucho Marxs... very funny... well...I was going to wait until I finished reading your book before writing to you, but since you sent me an email today I decided to just tell you now.... More > CONGRATULATIONS! You two have a winner here. I rate your book: *****< Less
